Virustautien Tutkimussäätiön apurahalautakunta (prof. Heikki Hyöty, dos. Tytti Vuorinen ja prof. Kalle Saksela) on antanut lausuntonsa apurahahakemuksista. Lautakunta on päätynyt yksimielisesti myöntämään apurahat seuraaville kymmenelle hakijalle, 1100 euroa kullekin:
